teen parenting

The dilemna of being a parent to a teenager:
One day you feel as if you aren't doing enough on the job parenting and you have slacked off too much.

The next day you feel as if you are over-parenting, being a helicopter parent, and not letting your almost grown child make decisions and fly on his own.

  1. I need a "like" button on this one, Libby! Ain't it the gosh-darn truth!

  2. I hate to add that it doesn't get any easier the closer they get to 18 either. I can hardly believe that I will have an 18 year old in a little over 2 months. He can make his own decisions about everything according to our government. Yet I struggle to keep from nagging about chores, being on time, etc. It's all crazy! But at the same time it's amazing!
