Hudson just sat in Mike's lap and let him put socks on his feet! This evening he has been really playful and even smiling at Mike. Praise the Lord. I'll post a pic of them playing later. Last night Hudson grieved from 1-4am. I just laid there with him and tried to be patient and pray for his peace. He fell back asleep and slept until 8:45. I think it is getting better!
YIPPEE!!! Thank You LORD!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful that Hudson is warming up to Mike now. It probably didn't hurt for Hudson to see the big boys with their daddy. I'm sure it seemed like an eternity to his new daddy and everyone else though. Tina Murphy
ReplyDeleteI know one day, very soon, Hudson will not want Mike to get out of his sight! He will know how lucky he is to have his new family. I can't wait for him to let me hold him.

Hang in there, sweet Skaggs family!! I know this is tough, but you guys are experts!! I think one day soon it will just click for him, and he'll know he's home. So sorry I missed the homecoming. I would have loved to see you all united together. Love you all! Kim Craddock & fam
ReplyDeleteLibby,
ReplyDeleteI haven't posted anything at all, but I have read with anxious eyes. I am so glad about Mike getting to hold him. I am praying for peace, rest, and positive acclimation and bonding for all of you. Thanks so much for your willingness to be transparent, share the journey and God's grace and mercy along the way.
